Evaluations

The first step in your care is an evaluation. We will discuss your history, current concerns, family history, and medications and get a sense of the bigger picture of what you are dealing with. We treat both mental health issues and substance use disorders. After the evaluation is complete, we will work together on a treatment plan and determine the path to help you feel better. If we feel your needs will be better served by a referral elsewhere, we can point you in the right direction.

Medication management

If we determine medication is the right path then we will work with you to find the right medication for you. We will continue to manage your medications on an ongoing basis for as long as needed.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy in combination with medication can be very effective to treat a variety of mental health problems. We are able to provide psychotherapy to help you work through the issues you are having and meet your goals.

Medical cannabis certification

We are able to provide certification for the NY state medical cannabis program with documentation of a qualifying condition.

Pharmacogenetic testing

We are now able to offer pharmacogenetic testing through Genomind. This is a test that can tell us how your body reacts to certain medications and can be very helpful if you’ve tried a bunch of medications without success. Contact us to learn more.
